Ukraine’s Army of Drones Bonus Links Verified Strikes to New Military Gear
Ukraine’s “Army of Drones Bonus” program is turning verified battlefield results into a rewards system that lets military units trade e-points for more drones, electronic warfare tools and robotic systems.
The Ministry of Defence says units upload photo and video evidence through Delta, receive points after verification and redeem them through Brave1 Market, with DOT-Chain Defence handling logistics and documentation. Officials say the system has shortened delivery times and helped scale battlefield technology.
The Washington Post reported that the program awards points for Russian soldiers killed or incapacitated as well as equipment destroyed, making it one of the clearest examples of war being managed through game-like incentives.
The stakes go beyond the battlefield. Legal and ethics analysts say reward systems can raise questions about desensitization, targeting incentives and law-of-war compliance, even if structured through formal military channels.
