U.S. Soldiers Blast Pentagon Account After 6 Killed in Iran Drone Strike in Kuwait
Survivors of the deadliest Iranian attack on U.S. troops in the current war are now directly contradicting the Pentagon’s version of events.
According to CBS News, soldiers who lived through the March 1 drone strike in Kuwait say their unit was left exposed, despite Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth claiming the base was fortified and only breached by a single drone.
Six U.S. service members were killed and more than 20 wounded in the attack, making it the deadliest strike on American forces since the conflict began. Survivors told reporters the position had no real air defenses and had been placed in what they believed was a known Iranian target zone.

The accounts sharply challenge the Pentagon’s narrative and raise new questions about leadership decisions and battlefield preparation.
The Pentagon has not addressed the discrepancies, citing an ongoing investigation, but the conflicting accounts are likely to intensify scrutiny as the war continues.
