White House Flags Marjorie Taylor Greene to Secret Service Over Trump Dinner Protest Leak
WASHINGTON — The White House reportedly flagged former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to the U.S. Secret Service, saying she may have tipped off protesters about President Donald Trump’s private dinner location before anti-war activists confronted him inside a Washington, D.C., restaurant. The alleged incident is drawing fresh scrutiny of security protocols and relations within the MAGA movement.
Sources told Axios that officials grew concerned after protesters from the group Code Pink showed up at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in September 2025, yelling “Free DC! Free Palestine! Trump is the Hitler of our time!” as Trump and senior aides dined. The episode raised questions about how demonstrators knew his plans in advance.
According to the report, White House aides told the Secret Service they suspected Greene, once a staunch Trump ally might have shared the dinner details with activists, given her recommendation of the restaurant and her known connections with Code Pink members.
Greene denounced the allegation, telling Axios it was “an absolute lie, a dangerous lie” and that she would never endanger the president. She argued that the Secret Service failed to secure the venue properly and insisted she had no knowledge of Trump’s reservation details. Code Pink also rejected the claim that Greene alerted them to the president’s visit.

“It absolutely did not happen, to the point it is comical,” a Code Pink spokesperson said.
The report comes amid a public feud between Trump and Greene that culminated in her resignation from Congress earlier this month, after differences over policy and strategy.
Security officials have not publicly confirmed any formal investigation into Greene’s actions. The controversy underscores ongoing tensions in Republican circles and potential vulnerabilities in presidential security protocols.
What happens next may include further internal reviews or responses from the Secret Service.
