Have you heard what I found to be rather enraging? The fact that Alabama Senate Bill 53 is basically just a reworded version of every provision that was struck down in HB 56 from 2011? They still accomplish exactly the same things that they would have in hb56 and that is why they were struck down then.
However in this new version not only did they leave the rich folks clause in there, you know the one that says if they want to hire an illegal alien, (I prefer the term undocumented person because nobody's illegal anywhere), they're cool everything is fine with them because they won't go to jail or be fined or whatever it is like a business for hiring these dangerous immigrants for household help, they've also worded it so broadly that I can go to jail and be charged with human trafficking for taking my husband to work.
They are attempting to make it so that if someone is in jail for ... I guess being pulled over for no tail light maybe would be the thing..., and they suspect that the person is not registered, then they can just hold them for 48 hours while they find out. On an administrative warrant wouldn't that be considered unlawful detention or kidnapping or just being a redneck?
See here's the thing, I'm married to a man who is undocumented this is well known all over the county I guess we haven't tried to hide it.
But the man has been with me for 18 years and he has more character, more integrity, more ethics, than a single one or all of the legislators in this state put together and then some.
My question right now is where the hell was a single one of these old fat white assholes when I was married to my first husband who was trying to kill me? Not trying to "save the public at that point. No, they let him repeatedly harass people, run the roads forging prescriptions, beat his wife, steal company vehicles with thousands of dollars worth of equipment on the attached trailer... And the list goes on.
And when the HELL did this population become what my daddy would've called a bunch of pussy-footing sheep? I take the phrase to mean that people are totally fine with letting their rights be legislated away and so they are tiptoeing around the government. Either way, that's what it means in this context. You know, I might just write my own post on here using things comment and work outward from here to see who might decide to answer my question (and I have plenty more).
According to the apostle Paul, we are no longer under the Law. So why put up the 10 commandments? Christians would do better to put up the Beatitudes. Except that would expose their hypocrisy.
