Those of us with a brain have known all along how dangerous it was to alienate our allies. What took decades of trust to build these alliances, trump managed to destroy in ten years. Then he proceeds to start an unnecessary war and thinks the United States can stand on its own. When he finally catches on that is not possible, he has the audacity to expect the very countries he insulted and disrespected to step up and help us. He further insults them by not asking humbly, but threatens them with how bad things will get for NATO if they refuse to help. Why would they come to our aid? They should not. That would just enable his power grab all the more. None of this is normal, but it is very dangerous and wrong and damaging - and very sick!
Why isn’t Trump demanding the countries in the Middle East help reopen the Strait of Hormuz?!? Don’t they have a more vested interest than the other countries?!?
