Let's hope and ensure that the Court's intervention to preserve our monuments, museums, literature, and other cultural heritage is replicated nationally. We, the People, whose ancestors formulated this "Great Experiment" of our democratic republic, the United States of America, deserve better and must continue to dedicate our efforts to restore, rebuild, and support the accurate, inclusive, factual truth in representing our history.
If people are made to feel uncomfortable about our true history, then good, for those issues involving slavery, treatment of our indigenous populations, and the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII, we need to be uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable encourages most of us to examine our own views of the past reality and try to improve the present and future. My brother teaches history and civics to hs students and does not gloss over the truth in history. It encourages healthy discussion and surprisingly there haven’t been complaints from parents. What Trump is trying to do does not try “In order to form a more perfect union”, he’s trying to censure history. And I must ask women in particular,(but also men) who agree with what Trump is doing—do you also think we don’t deserve to vote?
I've been saying it since trump came on the scene, and more so with them working to restrict voting rights - "don't be surprised when they take women's right to vote away." The answer I always get, "Oh, they'll never do that!". They ARE indeed trying to make it more difficult for women to vote - that's their first step.
Executive Order 14253 "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History". What a friggin joke!!! I think we should be focused on restoring TRUTH and SANITY to the Whitehouse and our government!!! Don't you??? That's where it is most needed right now!!!

He has the most crooked lawyers, capable of picking the right words to enable the evil king in his master plan of hate and bigotry. Only this complete idiot would take it upon himself to erase the parts of history he doesn't like.
There is still so much more history that has remained hidden that needs to be taught. We need to keep expanding American history to include ALL history - even the uncomfortable, shameful parts that are as important as our bright and shining moments.
I am sure this is far reaching, just like removing all references and policies of DEI from our government and country. I sincerely hope people are paying attention, and are going to bring this to court everywhere it occurs. We cannot let these atrocious, abuses of Executive Orders keep taking place.

...courts issue sound, rational findings based on law & Trump administration chooses to ignore...months, if not years later, courts may cite for contempt, but rarely does that happen...courts need legitimate enforcement capability, but even then court ordered policy will not be enforced & any individual actually held accountable will be pardoned...system is amuck..
