In reality, the clock is our nation, we know it's full of gold coins, but crazy and/or rich people are standing around it, taking turns lighting it on fire to collect the melted gold and smacking the people trying to put out the fire. They've also dropped the clock many times and apart from bits of duct tape to hold the cracked pieces together, they've never even tried to repair it.
What a lovely story!!!
Very touching story. It makes you realize that you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
Great story. So important and so well-written. Loved the drawings.
This was very interesting, I hope America survives Trump so the future Americans can laugh about what They inherited.........
Hey, great writing and touching story. I think everybody can relate to it. And I admit, sometimes it's hard to accept a heritage.
