In tandem with that, I see the impact of the creation of a unified database by DOGE and largely in the hands of Palantir as a fundamental shift in the relationship between the Federal Government and the private sector. Much of the Federal regulatory authority (e.g. EPA and IRS) has been eliminated, as well as the boundaries between the agencies (e.g. SSA and INS.) This has changed the nature of individual citizen's rights as well as the economic and political dynamics.
