Of course… the tech bro boys believe they are entitled to make their own laws and rules for themselves and another set of laws and rules for us plebeians. Dynasty of the billionaires!

The hubris is unbelievable. The tech oligarchs denigrate the society that created them. They would not have become the destructive force that they are without federal corporate welfare, including the free internet and billion dollar government contracts. The lack of protections for ordinary people and the rule of law weighed in favor of the elite have allowed the rich to reward themselves by stealing economic agency from all other Americans.

The oligarchs think any accountability is too much and want to have zero accountability for themselves. Their employees, however, must account for every second. I'm surprised they're not requiring employees keep track of how much they pee in a trip to the bathroom to make sure they're not taking a minute or two to themselves.

Thanks for covering this issue. Their manifesto is no less frightening than the fascist agenda. It is also quite juvenile and comical.

The billionaires elites actually think they are in charge now, and I guess in a way they are unless we do something about it. But they only became billionaires because of our hard work for pennies. And our purchasing the products and services that our hard work made. And their greedy attitudes - not ever truly giving back along their rise to billionairedom - to increase the wages of their hard workers.

Trickle down doesn't work because the CEOs are so greedy, and narcissistic, etc.

AI for the normal consumer is total crap. It makes mistakes all over the place. It can't be trusted.

Just wanted to add that I especially love the last paragraph in this article!

Anyway thanks again!

I think it vital to distinguish between AI and the consolidation of data on individual citizens into a privately owned database that erases institutional protections, such those placed upon the Social Security Administration(SSA). I see the combination of AI (that has many good uses) with that database as an abuse of power and denial of the principles of good governance.

Responsibilities accountabilities go with with functional management under Democratic leadership this is Democracy.

Smash the old communist theories .. if unable to judge our democracies correctly.. make comparable trips to

Various dictatorships.. from Cuba to Russia to North Korea to Vietnam… open eyes

Billionaire accountability is functionally meaningless without enforcement. We need laws concerning monopolies and pricing. Very often these exist but are not enforced.

Just, wow.

Reminds me a little of the Japanese classic Hagakure: The Way of the Samurai, and how it was written by a rich sheltered man who had been raised on stories about the Samurai of old, several generations before his time. Actually a really good book, in parts, peppered with random nonsense that has no bearing whatsoever on anyone's current life.

Tech bros, by and large, do seem to be a real waste of oxygen.
